Woolmans first began back in 1881 and was founded by Henry Woolman (almost by accident). We can now boast over 130 years of experience in breeding, raising and selling chrysanthemums and dahlias. 

Today, all our chrysanthemum growing is done from our nursery in Lincolnshire, Rookery Farm and your chrysanthemums will be cared for by our designated grower. From here much of our virus-free motherstock is held and each year, ever variety we hold or sell is grown out on our trial field to ensure that we list the very best varieties and that the plants you receive are true to type. We also trial many potential new varieties, and IF they meet the Woolmans seal of approval, we aim to release them for sale.

With a large selection of chrysanthemum varieties listed, we aim to ensure you get the very best flowers whether you’re growing for border, bed, container, vase or show. To do this, we provide the best possible quality plants. All our cuttings are rooted into our specially designed glue plugs so that you receive stocky, bushy plants with roots that are bound together and travel well in the post.
